Earlier this year, Elevate Ōtaki engaged First Retail Group (FRG) to develop a Retail and Investment Strategy for the current SH1 corridor. The intent was the delivery of a strategy, co-designed with stakeholders, that determined solutions to maintain and grow market share, and leverage the area’s unique destination benefits, brand and position - along with successfully navigating changes in audience, competition and recognised challenges in the economic climate.
The committee have reviewed the Strategy, and it is now available to read online. In February, Elevate will meet with Ōtaki businesses to discuss the Strategy and the next steps. Information will follow early in the new year.
